    Coomba Falls, at Maidenwell, is an exceptionally beautiful place, featuring a deep natural swimming hole and striking granite cliffs. The water is icy most of the year, so it’s the ideal site to cool down on a hot day.

    Located just a few kilometres from the heart of Maidenwell, picturesque Coomba Falls provides the ideal setting for a picnic and a day of swimming and relaxing. It’s also a lovely spot for photography and bird watching.

    Coomba Falls is located just two kilometres from town where you can enjoy a coffee or lunch at Maidenwell Trading Post, or kick back on the veranda of the Maidenwell Hotel for a refreshing drink and pub meal.

    Bunyip Springs Farmstay

      Bunyip Springs Farmstay provides visitors with genuine farm experiences and the unique attractions nearby make Bunyip Springs the perfect place to holiday. The 251 hectare farm is a grazing property and paddocks near to the accommodation facilities are home to the farm animals. Children experience activities such as feeding/leading alpacas, hand milking, egg collecting and led horse ride. The property’s rural setting includes natural bushland, spring fed creeks and granite boulder formations. These features provide wonderful bushwalking, wildlife and bird watching opportunities.

      Nearby attractions include the beautiful Bunya Mountains National Park, Coomba Waterhole, trail riding at Cowboy Up, a Country hotel, Monthly markets at Nanango and Bunya Mountains and South Burnett wineries.

      Owner Kathy enjoys sharing the attractions of Bunyip Springs and is only too happy to guide visitors and familiarise them with the property.

      Accommodation premises include the Cottage and Unit, both have the option of two or three bedrooms for guests. The larger premises of the Lodge is suitable for larger groups (two families). All accommodation premises are self-contained with linen provided. Wood heaters make for cosy winter nights and verandas are popular to relax on in the summer months.

      Maidenwell Country Muster

        The Maidenwell Country Muster has secured an all-country line-up including national headlining act, Beccy Cole!

        The country-music-only Muster will come together on Mother’s Day weekend Friday 8 and Saturday 9 May 2020, Maidenwell Sportsground, Maidenwell. Gates open from 11am on Saturday 9th (main concert / ticketed event) you can expect to see award winning, country artists including Anthony Taylor, Libby O’Donovan, Allen Caswell, Aleyce Simmonds, Liam Kennedy-Clark, and The Spurs!

        Limited free camping is available onsite and surrounding areas with plenty of alternate accommodation places listed nearby in neighbouring towns of the South Burnett.
