‘Roar’ – International Women’s Day Exhibition

In celebration of the talent and diverse practices of female artists living in and around the South Burnett, Roar will showcase new works by local artists responding to the theme what it means to be a woman in regional Queensland.

The exhibition will coincide with International Women’s Day 2018 and serves to support local arts development whilst raising critical funds for South Burnett CTC’s vital domestic violence support for women and their families in the community.

This initiative is proudly presented by South Burnett Women and our project partners. The International Women’s Day Awards were judged in the following categories:

South Burnett Regional Council Major Art Award
    Peddle Thorp Highly Commended Award
Taabinga Station Young or Emerging Artist Award
