Hanger Ridge is a 260-acre property where we run a small herd of cattle, along with a few other farm animals. With the nearest town, Kingaroy, just 15 minutes away, there’s very little traffic noise to be heard. The paddock where all three campsites are located spans 5 acres of well-kept grass with a scattering of trees. It’s best suited for those who are happy to rough it and are fully self-contained, as we currently have no facilities (yet)—they’re a work in progress. Each site includes a fire pit, with piles of sticks available nearby. Firewood is also provided upon request. Pets are welcome, provided they are kept on a leash and any waste is cleaned up. Please also be mindful of any wildlife that may be in the area.
